Privacy Policy

We run a deliberately minimal service: no app, no accounts, no sign-up. That shapes everything about how we handle data — there is very little to handle.

What we collect

• Your WhatsApp chats — messages, card photos/codes you send, and your phone number, because that is where trades happen.
• Bank details you give us — account name, number and bank, used only to send your payout.
• Basic website logs — our web server records standard access logs (IP, page, time) for security and abuse prevention.

What we do with it

• Verify cards and pay you.
• Answer your questions and keep a record of each trade in case of disputes.
• Meet legal and anti-fraud obligations.

What we never do

• We never sell your data.
• We never share your details with marketers.
• We don’t run advertising trackers on this site.

Retention

Trade records are kept as long as the law and sensible bookkeeping require. If you want a chat record deleted, ask — we’ll delete what we can and tell you exactly what we must legally keep.

Security

Card codes are sensitive: we verify them, pay, and do not retain them beyond the life of the trade record. Access to trade data is limited to the people working your trade.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you can ask what we hold about you, correct it, or request deletion where the law allows. Email info@giftcardstonaira.ng and we’ll handle it.
